Islamabad: Shortly after her release, PTI activist Sanam Javaid has been arrested once again by the Islamabad Police. According to Express News, the police detained the PTI worker and social media activist in Islamabad yet again.
Sanam Javaid’s lawyer, Mian Ali Ashfaq, confirmed her arrest in a Facebook post. He stated, “We handed her (Sanam Javaid) over to the police without resistance, as respect for the law requires, and that’s exactly what we did.”
However, Mian Ali Ashfaq did not specify in his post the grounds on which Sanam Javaid was arrested again. It should be noted that earlier today, the District and Sessions Court Islamabad had ordered her release, rejecting the physical remand request by the FIA in her case.
