Islamabad: Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting Ataullah Tarar criticized Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder Imran Khan, alleging that Khan has confessed to facilitating rigging during the events of May 9 and consistently engaging in politicizing corpses.
According to Express News, Federal Minister Ataullah Tarar stated that the mastermind behind Tehrik-e-Insaf has finally confessed to orchestrating rigging and planning during the May 9 incidents. He remarked that PTI’s political strategy has always revolved around damaging the state through violence and malice, emphasizing their persistent exploitation of corpses.
The Information Minister highlighted that more than 200 military installations and GHQ were attacked on May 9, with members of Imran Niazi’s family present outside the Corps Commander House, issuing directives for the attacks.
He further pointed out that Zaman Park is being developed as a training headquarters for terrorists, where suicide bombers are trained and attacks on the state are planned.
The Minister of Information stated that conspiracies have been orchestrated, ranging from writing letters to the IMF to destabilize the country, to desecrating memorials of martyrs. He asserted that every action has been taken that even enemies of the country could not have done. Ataullah Tarar emphasized the need for stringent action against this malicious and insurgent group for national security and interests.
