Provincial Minister Haji Noor Muhammad Dummar Condemns Attack on Trucks in Tor Khan

Quetta:Provincial Minister for Food Haji Noor Muhammad Dummar strongly condemned the firing on coal-loaded trucks by unidentified saboteurs on the main Shahrah-e-Harnai-Sanjavi highway in Tor Khan, a sub-district of Harnai district, Punjab. The attack resulted in severe injuries to three innocent drivers.

Minister Haji Noor Muhammad Dummar has demanded immediate action from the Chief Minister of Balochistan and other law enforcement agencies responsible for maintaining peace and security. He urged them to crack down on elements involved in sabotaging the peace in their constituency of Tor Khan by undertaking decisive measures on an urgent basis to ensure the protection of lives and properties of the public on main highways.

Haji Noor Muhammad Dummar further demanded compensation for the affected truck owners and injured drivers who suffered losses due to the burning of trucks and the firing incident. He instructed the Deputy Commissioner of Harnai to ensure all necessary measures are taken to safeguard the lives and properties of the public on the main highway, including conducting frequent patrols.

The provincial minister emphasized that the government is committed to eliminating sabotage activities through targeted operations in both the country and the province, thereby ensuring peace and security. He pledged to raise this issue vociferously on the floor of the assembly concerning the burning of trucks, injuring drivers, and the overall security situation, promising every effort to provide financial compensation to affected truck owners and injured drivers.

Haji Noor Muhammad Dummar described the incident in Tor Khan last night as extremely tragic, underscoring that condemnation alone is not enough. He reiterated that sabotage is a sore that the Government of Pakistan has decided to tackle with stringent measures, aiming to establish peace and security in both the country and Balochistan province.
