Quetta:Provincial Minister for Irrigation Mir Muhammad Sadiq Imrani strongly condemned the recent attack on the Pakistani consulate in Frankfurt, Germany, by elements with Afghan extremist leanings. In a statement, the minister criticized these actions as a grave disrespect to the Pakistani flag and emphasized Pakistan’s long-standing hospitality towards Afghan refugees over the past four decades.
Minister Imrani highlighted the sacrifices made by thousands of Pakistani soldiers and civilians in the fight against terrorism, despite which extremist elements continue to sow seeds of hatred between the brotherly Islamic nations due to their narrow-minded and negative ideologies.
He reaffirmed that the Pakistani nation holds its country and flag in high regard, and will spare no sacrifice to protect them. Minister Imrani urged the German government, through diplomatic channels, to take immediate legal action against those involved in the shameful attack under the Vienna Convention.
The security of diplomatic missions falls under the responsibility of the host government, and Minister Imrani called upon the German authorities to ensure the safety and security of Pakistani diplomatic establishments within their jurisdiction.
