Provincial Education Minister Raheela Hamid Khan Durrani Highlights Efforts for Improvement in Balochistan’s Education Sector

Quetta:Provincial Minister for Education Raheela Hamid Khan Durrani expressed that under the leadership of Chief Minister Balochistan, Mir Sarfraz Bugti, the provincial government is committed to improving the education department. She shared that within a year, more than 1,000 closed schools in Balochistan have been made operational.

Speaking at a donor conference organized by the Alkhidmat Foundation, the provincial minister acknowledged the foundation’s longstanding contributions and praised its services. She emphasized the importance of helping others as taught in Islam, expressing her intent to have a meeting with Alkhidmat Foundation soon and ensuring them of full cooperation.

Raheela Durrani further stated that Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti is paying special attention to the education department and efforts are being made to improve the educational system in Balochistan. She stressed the importance of collaboration between parents, teachers, and students to enhance the system. Regarding the issue of cheating in exams, she mentioned that steps are being taken by the government, and parents are beginning to report the need for less leniency in such matters.

The minister also clarified that not all officers are corrupt, assuring that the issues faced by education department officials will be addressed promptly. Additionally, she assured that schools will be established in areas of Balochistan where there is a lack of educational institutions.
