Provincial Committee Formed by Ministry of Interior on Missing Persons Includes Members from Balochistan Assembly; National Party Disavows Involvement of Mir Rahmat Saleh Baloch

Quetta:The Ministry of Interior has constituted a parliamentary committee concerning missing persons, including several members from the Balochistan Assembly. Provincial Minister for Interior Zia Langove, along with Members of Provincial Assembly Meena Majid, Asghar Khan Tareen, Rahmat Saleh Baloch, and Prince Agha Omar, along with Additional Chief Secretary Home Department Balochistan, have been nominated as members.

The formation of this committee by the government has prompted the National Party to officially announce the disassociation of Mir Rahmat Saleh Baloch, a provincial assembly member, from any involvement in this committee or its activities. The parliamentary leadership of the National Party clarified that neither they nor any other parliamentary members of the National Party were consulted or included in the formation of this committee.

The spokesperson for the National Party emphasized their commitment to transparency and accountability in governmental affairs, urging the authorities to adhere to democratic processes and consult all relevant stakeholders before making decisions that impact public welfare and trust.

The National Party remains steadfast in its stance on safeguarding constitutional rights and ensuring that governmental actions uphold the rule of law and democratic principles.
