Kharan:The All Pakistan Mari Ittehad Rakhshan Division staged a protest from Chief Chowk to the Kharan Press Club demanding the arrest of the killers of a young Mari tribesman, Yasin Mari. During the demonstration, participants spoke to the media, stating that Yasin was forcibly disappeared six months ago from Shahrah-e-Faisal in Karachi and subsequently murdered in a staged police encounter in Nawab Shah.
They mentioned that the Mari Ittehad had filed a petition in the Sindh High Court following Yasin’s murder, but despite the passage of six months, no effective action has been taken by the court. Protesters warned that if the individuals involved are not apprehended soon, they would resort to a strong response.
