Kharan:Relatives of missing persons have blockaded the Red Zone area in Kharan in protest against the ongoing raids and arrests conducted by security forces. Despite the arrival of the Deputy Commissioner, SP, and Assistant Commissioner for negotiations, talks have failed, and the sit-in continues.
Haji Qadoos Mirwani, a councilor of the Municipal Committee and brother of the missing Abdul Karim Mirwani, spoke to Rukhshan News. He reported that security forces conducted raids at their home in the Siyah Pat area late last night and again around 1 PM today. During the raids, they allegedly assaulted women, vandalized property, and detained two of his brothers along with a neighbor.
Mirwani stated that the protests and blockade of the Red Zone will continue until their missing loved ones are released. The situation remains tense as the community demands immediate action and accountability.
