Protests and Attacks Can’t Free Prisoners: Tariq Fazal Chaudhry
Islamabad: Tariq Fazal Chaudhry, a senior leader of the Pakistan Muslim League (Nawaz), stated that protests and attacks cannot be used to secure the release of prisoners. Speaking at a press conference in Islamabad, he criticized Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leaders for voluntarily surrendering themselves to authorities, questioning what they aimed to achieve through their actions.
Chaudhry added that these leaders were “playing with the future of the youth” and warned that whenever Pakistan’s progress is discussed, such leaders resort to spreading chaos. Referring to recent events, he pointed out that during the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) conference, these individuals attempted to create unrest. He further questioned the achievements of PTI during its four years in power.
