Protesters Block Quetta-Karachi National Highway Near Bab-e-Iran

Quetta:In response to alleged police brutality, women demonstrators near the Johar Cross Market in Mangocher area of Quetta staged a sit-in protest on the Quetta-Karachi national highway. The national highway was completely shut down for all traffic, resulting in the stranding of hundreds of vehicles and passengers.

Protesters expressed their resolve to continue the protest until the release of all detained demonstrators arrested in Quetta.
