Quetta:Relatives of missing persons from various areas of Kech district staged a protest rally from Shaheed Fida Chowk to the Deputy Commissioner’s office in Quetta, condemning the use of state force and demanding the recovery of their loved ones.
Participants of the rally, which started from Shaheed Fida Chowk and traversed through Main Bazaar Turbat and Commissioner Road, raised strong slogans against the use of state power on the protest of missing persons in Quetta. Holding placards and banners, they vociferously demanded the recovery of missing persons and protested against enforced disappearances.
Alongside the relatives of missing persons, activists from the Huk Do Tehreek, BSO, and a large number of ordinary citizens participated in the rally. The relatives reiterated their commitment to continue their sit-in protest in front of the district administration office until their loved ones are recovered. They announced symbolic hunger strikes and vowed to block roads if necessary.
