Quetta:Hundreds of demonstrators gathered in Quetta today under the banner of the Baloch Unity Committee to protest the crackdown on Baloch activists, including partners of the “Quetta” newspaper. The rally, organized by Balochistan University, marched towards the Red Zone in Quetta, demanding immediate release of detained leaders and condemning the reported use of force in recent demonstrations in Gwadar. The protest saw participation from lawyers, political and social leaders, student activists, and a significant number of women and children. Chants demanding justice echoed through the streets as protesters voiced their grievances against alleged violence towards activists in Gwadar.
