Protest Rally in Nokhshi Demands Immediate Release of Missing Teacher Fareed Ahmed Badini
Nokhshi:A protest rally was held in Nokhshi by the Baloch Youth Congress (BYC) and the family of missing teacher Fareed Ahmed Badini, demanding his immediate release. The rally, which began at the Mir Gul Khan Nasir Library, proceeded through Jinnah Road and culminated at the Press Club.
The protesters chanted slogans for the recovery of Fareed Ahmed Badini and other missing persons. The rally saw participation from women, children, youth, and workers of various political parties. Prominent figures, including Fareed Ahmed’s daughter Lubna Badini, Beberg Baloch, Mabeen Baloch, Comrade Amin Baloch, National Party’s Farooq Baloch, BNP’s Mir Khurshid Jamaldini, Maulana Zakariya Adil, GTA’s Zahir Baloch, Mushtaq Baloch, Mah Parah Baloch, and others addressed the gathering.
The speakers expressed deep concern over the increasing cases of enforced disappearances in the province and demanded the immediate release of Fareed Ahmed. They emphasized that even the educators, who are the pillars of society, are no longer safe in Balochistan. Fareed Ahmed, who suffers from heart disease and high blood pressure, has been missing for over a month, leading to growing concerns about his health and well-being within his family.
The protesters warned that if Fareed Ahmed is not released within one week, they would launch an indefinite sit-in on the national highway. The demonstration also highlighted the broader issue of enforced disappearances, calling for urgent action to ensure the safe return of all missing persons.
