Turbat:The camp of relatives of missing persons continued for the third consecutive day outside the district administration office, demanding the recovery of their loved ones. Various regions of Kech district, which have connections to missing individuals, participated in the ongoing protest.
Relatives addressed the camp, urging that their loved ones should be rescued from this torment. They emphasized that if these individuals are criminals, they should be presented in courts according to the constitution and the law. They expressed frustration that despite multiple attempts through negotiations, they have returned empty-handed each time. Consequently, they have been compelled to sit in protest for the third time in the past two months.
The protest camp featured speeches from relatives of several missing individuals, including Muslim Arif’s sister from Turbat, Fatah Miyaar’s family, Jan Muhammad Baloch’s daughter, as well as missing individuals from Turbat, Dr. Rafiq Baloch, Nasar Kareem from Kolahoo Camp, Muhammad Hayat from Pidark Kech, Miran Hussain, and Samir Naemat. Besides the missing persons’ families, a large number of men and women joined the protest from various organizations including the Right to Movement Movement, Baloch Unity Committee, and BSO Pajjar.
Despite spending three days in protest, according to the relatives, no government agency or official has approached them to discuss or accept their demands.
