Professor Faizullah Khan Achakzai Announces Joining Pakistan Peoples Party
Meeting with PPP's Central Executive Committee Member Haji Ali Madad Jatak at His Residence
Quetta: Professor Faizullah Khan Achakzai, a senior member of the Pashtunkhwa Milli Awami Party (PkMAP), announced his resignation from the party and officially joined the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP). He made this announcement during a meeting with Haji Ali Madad Jatak, a member of PPP’s Central Executive Committee and candidate for the Provincial Assembly seat in Constituency 45, at Jatak’s residence today. Professor Achakzai also pledged his full support for Jatak in the upcoming by-elections.
During the meeting, Professor Achakzai praised Haji Ali Madad Jatak, calling him a sincere, courageous, and people-oriented leader who has served the local community selflessly, regardless of their ethnicity or background. “It is his positive and impactful leadership that has motivated me to join the Pakistan Peoples Party,” said Achakzai.
Meanwhile, another prominent political and tribal leader, Sardar Doda Khan Parkani, also met with Haji Ali Madad Jatak and announced his full support for the PPP candidate in the by-elections.
Haji Ali Madad Jatak welcomed both Professor Faizullah Khan Achakzai and Sardar Doda Khan Parkani into the party fold, expressing that their joining would further strengthen PPP’s position in the region. “I deeply value the trust shown by tribal leaders in me and the party. Together, we will play a significant role in the development of the region,” he remarked.
The political shift signals a growing influence of PPP in the area, with local leaders coming together to support the party’s vision for the future.
