Quetta:The Chehlum of Imam Hussain will be observed with devotion and respect across Balochistan tomorrow. The processions will be held in various areas of Quetta and Balochistan, with extensive security arrangements in place.
In Quetta, the procession will begin from the Imam Bargah Mehdi in Hazara Town and will consist of 22 contingents. Another procession will start from the Imam Bargah Mominabad on Alamdar Road, comprising 21 contingents. Both processions will follow designated routes and culminate at the Behesht-e-Zainab Cemetery.
The processions will be led by Agha Javad Rafiqi, President of the Balochistan Shia Conference. The Balochistan Police has developed a comprehensive security plan, involving stringent measures. Police, FC personnel, and plainclothes officers will be deployed along the procession routes.
Additionally, mobile services will be suspended in various areas of Balochistan during the Chehlum processions to ensure security and prevent any disruptions.
