Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif Condemns Firing Incident in Gwadar, Orders Investigation

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has strongly condemned the firing incident on passengers in Gwadar and expressed deep sorrow over the death of six individuals. He directed that the injured be provided with the best possible medical facilities and ordered a thorough investigation to identify the responsible parties and ensure they face appropriate punishment.
The Prime Minister stated that the perpetrators of such cowardly acts are enemies of peace and development in Balochistan. He emphasized that the heinous attacks on innocent people reflect the barbarity of these miscreants, and assured that their anti-national intentions will never succeed.
He further praised the efforts of the security forces and law enforcement agencies, noting that they are relentlessly thwarting the designs of enemies of the country. “I, along with the entire nation, take pride in our security forces and law enforcement agencies,” he added.
The incident took place in the Kalmat area of Gwadar, where armed assailants opened fire on passengers traveling to Karachi, killing six and injuring several others.
