Quetta: This week, various vegetables in Quetta have seen a significant increase in prices. Market sources report that the price of peas has risen by 50 rupees, reaching 350 rupees per kilogram. The price of zucchini has surged by 120 rupees to 320 rupees per kilogram, while okra has increased by 50 rupees, now costing 250 rupees per kilogram.
Ginger has experienced a substantial hike of 200 rupees, bringing its price to 1,000 rupees per kilogram. Additionally, the price of onions has increased by 10 rupees to 130 rupees per kilogram, and garlic has risen by 100 rupees to 800 rupees per kilogram.
Market sources also noted that the prices of tomatoes remain steady at 120 rupees per kilogram, while red potatoes are priced at 140 rupees and white potatoes at 90 rupees per kilogram.
