Islamabad: Consumers are facing bad news as various companies have increased the prices of ghee and cooking oil.
According to details, the price of a 12 kg tin of second-grade ghee has risen by 67 rupees, bringing it to 5,837 rupees. The price of one kilogram of second-grade ghee has now reached 500 rupees.
Additionally, the price of a 12-liter pack of cooking oil has increased by 50 rupees, resulting in a new price of 5,960 rupees. Following this price hike, the wholesale price of cooking oil has risen to 497 rupees per liter, while retail prices are now between 505 and 510 rupees per liter.
