Kohlu:Zafrullah Mari, the central spokesperson for Pakistan Ideological Party, along with other members, held a press conference expressing grave concerns over the current situation in Kohlu. They highlighted that despite numerous political parties in Kohlu, none are sincerely working for the welfare of the poor. They demanded that the authorities urgently address public issues instead of facing the repercussions of public backlash.
Mari criticized the imposition of restrictions on journalists in Kohlu, limiting freedom of expression. He pointed out that Kohlu’s residents are deprived of basic facilities such as internet access, unannounced load shedding, shortages of doctors and medicines in hospitals, and a lack of teachers in schools. He also condemned the ineffective security forces and police who have failed to protect the lives and property of the people.
Highlighting the deteriorating law and order situation in distant parts of Kohlu city and district, where theft, murder, and drug abuse have become common, Mari emphasized that despite technological advancements worldwide, the people of Kohlu are deprived of even basic amenities like access to the internet.
Furthermore, Mari drew attention to the dire healthcare situation exacerbated by the absence of a blood bank, causing severe difficulties for patients. He also criticized the presence of unqualified, unregistered doctors who exploit the vulnerable and innocent people of Kohlu.
Mari concluded the press conference by warning that if the authorities fail to address public issues within a week, the citizens of Kohlu will resort to staging protests.
In conclusion, Pakistan Ideological Party’s central leadership, through Zafrullah Mari, urged the local administration, including Deputy Commissioner Aqeel Ahmed and FC Commandant Babar Khalil, to immediately resolve these pressing issues in Kohlu.
