PPP’s Chairman Blames KP Government for Escalating Violence in Kurram District
Karachi: Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari expressed grave concern over the deteriorating law and order situation in Kurram district. In a statement, he condemned the surge in violence and pointed out that the district is “burning in the fire of lawlessness.”
He criticized the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) government for its inaction, stating that over the past three days, 80 civilians have been killed in the region. “People in Kurram are no longer safe, even in their own homes,” Bilawal said. He emphasized that maintaining law and order is the primary responsibility of the provincial government.
The PPP Chairman also slammed the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) government for its failure to protect citizens’ lives and property, accusing it of criminal negligence in Kurram. He further vowed that the PPP would play its part in ensuring peace and security across the province of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
Bilawal’s statement reflects growing frustration with the current governance in the region, calling for immediate action to restore peace and security.
