PPP Minister Zahoor Baledi Congratulates on Launch of Turbat-Mand Road Project

Quetta:Provincial Minister for Planning and Development, Mir Zahoor Baledi, of the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP), has extended his congratulations to the people of Mand, Tump, and the entire Kech district on the occasion of the foundation stone-laying ceremony for the Turbat-Mand Road. The project, with an estimated cost of 19.5 billion rupees, has been a long-awaited dream for the people, who had hoped for a paved highway connecting their region to the Iran border.

In a statement shared on social media platform X, Baledi described the Turbat-Mand Road project as a key initiative under the South Balochistan Development Package, which aims to enhance intra-district connectivity and promote economic growth by boosting cross-border trade in the Makran Division. He emphasized that the road’s construction will be a critical economic lifeline for the region, facilitating smoother trade and communication.

Baledi further highlighted that the new highway connecting the border is a clear reflection of the unwavering commitment of the PPP-led provincial government, under the leadership of Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti, towards sustainable development and peace in Balochistan. He praised the government’s efforts to bring about positive changes in the region and assured that this project will play a significant role in fostering long-term progress and stability.
