Quetta:During a session of the Balochistan Assembly, Minah Majid, a member of the Pakistan Peoples Party, expressed her views on the recent protests on Sariab Road. She emphasized the need for the younger generation to see both sides of the picture and witness reality.
Minah Majid highlighted the difficulties faced by protestors on Sariab Road, noting their attempt to challenge the state’s authority. She condemned the physical altercation between women protestors and police officers, mentioning that the protestors even pulled off the veils of female police officers. She warned that whenever the time comes for action under CPEC, various issues arise.
Furthermore, Minah Baloch criticized the pro-China sentiment among some individuals, stating her condemnation of the Baloch uprising scheduled for July 28 in Gwadar.
