Powerful Western Weather System Enters Pakistan, Rain and Snow Expected in Punjab
Lahore: A strong western weather system has entered Pakistan, bringing the possibility of rain in central and northern Punjab, including Lahore. According to the Meteorological Department, this system is expected to bring cold winds to the plains of Punjab, while snowfall is likely in the hilly areas.
The department forecasts that the rain and chilly winds will increase the intensity of cold weather across the region. In Lahore, the minimum temperature is expected to be around 8.5°C, while the maximum temperature may reach 24°C.
This weather pattern is expected to not only intensify the cold but also benefit agricultural regions by providing much-needed moisture for crops. Citizens have been advised to take necessary precautions in light of the changing weather conditions.
