Islamabad:The Power Division has refuted reports regarding the establishment of separate courts and police stations specifically for tackling electricity theft.

In a statement released, the Power Division clarified that there is no truth to the claims about setting up dedicated courts and police stations to address electricity theft. The announcement further stated that the expenses incurred in the campaign against electricity theft are not being passed on to consumers.

The Power Division emphasized that the federal government is actively pursuing a campaign against electricity theft, utilizing the services of all law enforcement agencies.
