Islamabad:Barrister Saif Ali, Advisor for Information in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, has sharply criticized Defense Minister Khawaja Asif’s recent remarks, accusing him of politicizing national security issues rather than focusing on defense priorities.
Saif Ali argued that instead of engaging in political rhetoric against the federal government, efforts should be concentrated on enhancing national defense capabilities. He asserted that attributing responsibility for terrorism solely to the KP government highlights the federal government’s shortcomings.
Regarding Khawaja Asif’s role, Saif Ali questioned whether the Defense Minister’s position primarily involves political maneuvers rather than strategic defense initiatives amid ongoing security challenges in the region.
The advisor’s comments come amidst heightened political tensions, emphasizing the need for a unified approach to address security concerns across Pakistan.
