LAHORE: Javed Latif, a central leader of the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N), criticized the government’s decision to impose restrictions on the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) party, stating, “We cannot afford to close our eyes even when we know everything.”
Addressing the media in Lahore, he emphasized the importance of political stability for the nation, asserting that no political party should endanger the country. Latif remarked that Pakistan is currently facing insurmountable challenges, including economic, ethical, defense, and diplomatic weaknesses exacerbated by unsuccessful efforts like the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC).
He underscored that those in positions of authority should not remain silent for personal gain, stressing that despite knowing the facts, they cannot turn a blind eye any longer.
