Political Crackdown in Balochistan: An Attack on the Dignity and Rights of the Baloch Nation

In recent days, the political crackdown on activists in Balochistan and the use of force against peaceful protests has resulted in a serious human rights crisis. The humiliation of Baloch political activists through illegal arrests and state-sponsored violence is an attack on the spirit of the Baloch nation. The ruling authorities, who have been imposed on the people, show no concern for the public, and intoxicated by power, they are engaged in severe violence against the populace. In their quest to maintain control over the region and exploit its resources, these rulers have stripped the Baloch people of their fundamental rights to live with dignity.
The forced disappearances of political activists, state repression, the unavailability of basic rights, restrictions on political activities, and crackdowns on protests are just some of the forms of oppression that the Baloch people face. When the people rise to demand their rights, they are met with tanks, armored vehicles, water cannons, and bullets. The very people who seek their fundamental right to live on their land are shot at and massacred.
The puppet rulers of Balochistan have trampled on all political and human rights, subjecting political activists to inhumane treatment. The brutal treatment of political workers, dragged into jails and humiliated, while children are shot and martyred, and their bodies desecrated, are acts of aggression against the dignity of the Baloch nation. These wounds are deep in the collective memory of our people.
Despite this aggression, the brave youth of Balochistan, breathing in an atmosphere of oppression, continue to stand firm like rocks against this injustice. Their resistance is a shining example of the Baloch nation’s spirit. On this occasion, I urge all workers of our organization and the youth of Balochistan to organize their strength and play an active role in the peaceful political struggle to protect the political front of our nation and stand in solidarity with our leaders, ensuring their safety and demanding their release.
The Baloch nation’s resistance is a symbol of unyielding courage, and it is through this struggle that we will reclaim our dignity and our rights.
