Police Raid PTI Secretariat in Balochistan Ahead of February 8 Protest, 3 Leaders Arrested

Ahead of the planned protest on February 8, police raided the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Secretariat in Balochistan, arresting three key party officials.
According to sources, those arrested include the President of ILF, the Central Vice President, and the District President. The raid occurred during a consultative meeting regarding the protest scheduled for February 8.
In response to the arrests, PTI Balochistan’s spokesperson strongly condemned the action and demanded the immediate release of the detained leaders. The spokesperson reaffirmed the party’s commitment to peaceful protests, stating that this time too, PTI’s protest would be successful and conducted within the boundaries of the law to defend their rights.
It is noteworthy that PTI has declared February 8 as a “Black Day” to mark the one-year anniversary of the general elections. PTI plans to hold a large public gathering in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, with smaller rallies taking place in various cities across the country.
