Police Fire Tear Gas, Charge Batons on Protesters at GPO Chowk in Quetta

Quetta: Police resorted to tear gas shelling and baton charging protesters once again at the GPO Chowk, Red Zone, in response to demonstrations against the disappearance of Zeeshan Ahmed. Multiple women and children participating in the rally were reportedly rendered unconscious due to the gas.
Protesters claimed several individuals were injured during the rally. On the other hand, all routes leading to Quetta Red Zone were completely sealed with barricades and containers. Security around key buildings in the city has been significantly heightened.
