PM’s Advisor Rana Sanaullah Assures PPP of Resolution on 6 Canal Issue

Islamabad:Prime Minister’s advisor, Rana Sanaullah, has assured the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) that the matter of the 6 canals will be discussed and resolved through mutual agreement. In an interview with a private TV channel, Rana Sanaullah stated that the Prime Minister, Shehbaz Sharif, has promised PPP that a decision will be made collaboratively regarding the canal issue.
He emphasized that problems arise only when there is a situation of confrontation or stubbornness over any issue. During a meeting with PPP leadership, which included Bilawal Bhutto, Khursheed Shah, the Governor of Punjab, and other PPP leaders, the Prime Minister reassured them that a consensus decision would be reached and implemented regarding the 6 canals.
Rana Sanaullah further explained that the ownership of the 6 canals issue in Sindh needs to be addressed by PPP. He mentioned that if PPP does not take ownership of the matter, someone else will. According to him, PPP understands this situation and will take the necessary steps to resolve it, ensuring the correct decision is made. He urged PPP to take ownership of the issue and manage the political space around the canals in Sindh.
Regarding the situation in Balochistan, Rana Sanaullah expressed that the leadership of the Pakistan Muslim League (Nawaz) is deeply concerned about the province’s issues and is closely monitoring them. He condemned the terrorists who hijacked a train and killed innocent people, stressing that such terrorists do not deserve any sympathy.
