PM Shehbaz Sharif Highlights Pakistan’s Mineral Wealth and the Threat of Terrorism

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has emphasized that Pakistan is blessed with immense natural resources, with trillions of dollars worth of treasures hidden in the country’s mountains. However, he pointed out that terrorists are working to prevent the nation from utilizing these valuable resources.

Speaking at the “Rab Zul-Jalal Ka Ehsan Pakistan” event in Islamabad, the Prime Minister said that Pakistan is a great gift from Allah, and the creation of the country is nothing short of a miracle. He highlighted that this divine gift was granted to the nation during the holy month of Ramadan.

The Prime Minister further stated that the entire nation is demanding unity in the face of adversity, and that the sacrifices made by the Pakistan Armed Forces in the fight against terrorism should not be undermined. He stressed that the country is currently grappling with division and religious intolerance, which is a betrayal of the tremendous sacrifices made by the armed forces. He warned that such actions put the country’s dignity and respect at risk, and future generations will not forgive those who jeopardize the nation’s honor.

He also added that for the greater benefit of Pakistan, personal interests and egos must be subordinated to the national cause. Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif reiterated that Pakistan is rich in mineral resources, with vast reserves of precious metals and minerals hidden within its mountains, and that terrorism is primarily aimed at preventing Pakistan from benefiting from these natural assets.

He made it clear that those who oppose Pakistan’s development and prosperity are enemies of the nation, adding that the sources of financial support for terrorists are well-known, and the linkages of terrorism extend far and wide.

The Prime Minister commended the sacrifices made by Pakistan’s armed forces and law enforcement agencies in safeguarding the country’s security. He stressed that national unity, putting aside personal differences, is the only path to progress, and it is only through unity and solidarity that Pakistan can achieve its rightful place in the world.
