PM Shehbaz Sharif Condemns Terrorist Attack on Jaffer Express, Pledges Full Force Against Instability

Quetta:Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif condemned the terrorist attack on Jaffer Express, calling it an unforgivable crime, and vowed that any attempt to destabilize Pakistan would be met with full force. He commended Pakistan’s armed forces for their timely and decisive action, which led to the rescue of hostages and the failure of the terrorists’ malicious intentions. He stressed that both the perpetrators and their facilitators would be hunted down and eliminated without hesitation.

The Prime Minister was addressing a high-level security conference during his visit to Quetta, where Army Chief General Asim Munir, Finance Minister Ishaq Dar, and other civilian and military leaders were also present.

**Unforgivable Crime**
Prime Minister Sharif called the attack on Jaffer Express an unforgivable crime, emphasizing that the deliberate targeting of innocent civilians exposed the true nature of these anti-national militants. He underscored that such inhuman acts would not go unpunished.

**War Against Lawlessness and Despair**
Reaffirming Pakistan’s commitment to combating terrorism, the Prime Minister declared that any attempt to destabilize the country through such acts of treachery would be met with the full strength of the state. He stated that this was not just a war against militant organizations but also a fight against the ideology of lawlessness and despair. The conference also emphasized the need to stop hostile elements from contaminating the social atmosphere.

**Martyrs’ Sacrifices Will Not Go in Vain**
The Prime Minister met with the brave officers and soldiers who conducted operations against the terrorists, praising their courage and professionalism. He assured the families of the martyrs of the state’s full support and reiterated that their sacrifices would not be in vain.

**Zero Tolerance Policy**
Participants in the conference reaffirmed Pakistan’s unwavering commitment to a zero-tolerance policy against all forms of terrorism. Leaders from political parties, federal and provincial ministers, and other officials unanimously condemned the brutal attack on Jaffer Express, paying tribute to the martyrs and offering prayers for them.

**Briefing**
During the briefing, participants were informed in detail about the current security situation in Balochistan, ongoing efforts against terrorism, and the successful execution of the recent operation related to the Jaffer Express attack.

Later, Prime Minister Sharif and Army Chief General Munir visited the Combined Military Hospital (CMH) in Quetta, where they met with the injured and affected families.

Earlier, upon his arrival in Quetta, the Prime Minister was warmly welcomed by Balochistan’s Chief Minister and the Army Chief.
