Karachi: Renowned fashion designer and actor Hassan Sheheryar Yasin, known as HSY, has claimed that nearly all showbiz and fashion personalities in Pakistan have undergone plastic surgeries. HSY recently participated in Ahmed Ali Butt’s podcast, where he openly discussed various aspects of his career.
A viral video clip from the program shows HSY criticizing celebrities for opting for plastic surgeries. According to the fashion designer, even girls with 20,000 Instagram followers suddenly start flaunting expensive cars and luxury items without explaining their source.
Hassan Sheheryar Yasin emphasized that true beauty comes from within and that makeup and plastic surgeries do not enhance it. He cited Mahira Khan as a natural beauty icon and praised Ayesha Omar’s appearance.
HSY also commented on the appearance of Pakistani male actors, noting that many look like “chocolate heroes” with similar noses, jaws, eyebrows, and fuller lips due to cosmetic procedures.
He further added that while plastic surgeries are common in the showbiz industry, he refrained from naming specific actors or actresses.
Previously, several showbiz personalities have vaguely hinted at the prevalence of plastic surgeries in the fashion and entertainment industry, while some actors have openly admitted to undergoing cosmetic procedures.
