Islamabad: The Federal Ministry of Education has inaugurated pink buses in Islamabad for female students, teachers, and all women. Starting from tomorrow, the buses will operate on designated routes throughout the city.
A total of 20 pink buses have been introduced with the aim of providing superior travel facilities to women. This initiative seeks to promote girls’ education, empower women, and support comprehensive development in Islamabad.
Women will be able to travel for free and in safety on these buses, which will cover all major routes in the city. Federal Minister of Education, Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui, officially launched the buses. Secretary of Education, Mohiuddin Ahmed Wani, provided a detailed briefing about the buses to the Federal Minister.
