PIA to Launch Direct Flights from Lahore to Baku Starting April 20

Islamabad: Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) has announced the commencement of direct flights from Lahore to Baku, the capital of Azerbaijan, starting April 20.
According to the airline, two weekly flights will operate on this route, departing every Sunday and Wednesday from Lahore to Baku.
To mark the occasion, a special event was held in Karachi in honor of travel agents and tour operators, where detailed information about the new Baku flights was shared with industry stakeholders.
PIA officials stated that the new route is expected to play a significant role in promoting bilateral tourism and trade relations between Pakistan and Azerbaijan. They also acknowledged the vital role of travel agents in ensuring the success of this new venture.
The national carrier affirmed its commitment to making the Lahore-Baku route a commercially successful operation.
