Karachi:A PIA aircraft narrowly escaped a major accident at Karachi’s airport when it collided with a service vehicle responsible for water supply to planes. The incident occurred during preparations for an additional flight, PK 8300, from Karachi to Islamabad. The collision damaged the aircraft’s underside, identified by registration number AP-BHC.
Authorities have dispatched PIA engineers for further inspection of the aircraft, while passengers of the affected flight will be accommodated on alternative flights.
