Peshawar High Court Directs Government and PTI to Resolve Issues in Parliament
Peshawar: The Peshawar High Court granted interim bail to PTI leaders, Omar Ayub and Faisal Amin, until December 21.
The court heard the bail petitions of Omar Ayub, Leader of the Opposition in the National Assembly, and Faisal Amin, a Member of the National Assembly, who are facing cases in Islamabad.
Their lawyer informed the court that the petitioners are elected representatives and have been implicated in cases registered in Islamabad.
Justice Shakeel Ahmad, while hearing the case, remarked, “If the country is safe, then we are here. The priority is the country’s well-being. Whenever an unfortunate incident occurs, the country suffers. If a security personnel is injured, they are also sons of the nation.”
Justice Shakeel further emphasized that all political issues should be resolved through dialogue in Parliament. He urged the government to demonstrate responsibility and resolve issues through mutual discussion, stating that it would be in everyone’s best interest.
The court then approved the interim bail of Omar Ayub and Faisal Amin until December 21.
