Lahore: Senior Provincial Minister Maryam Aurangzeb stated that the people of Rawalpindi have rejected the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) rally. In a tweet on the social media platform X (formerly Twitter), she claimed that the public demonstrated a lack of support for the PTI event in Rawalpindi.
Aurangzeb referenced footage from Safe City cameras, which reportedly showed the rally site nearly empty, with few attendees present. She emphasized that the public is expressing confidence in Maryam Nawaz and is satisfied with the performance of their Chief Minister, rejecting the politics of chaos in the country.
She concluded by asserting that this is just the beginning, expressing gratitude for the public’s support.
