PCB’s Query on Lack of Pakistani Official at ICC Champions Trophy Final Still Unanswered

Lahore:The International Cricket Council (ICC) has yet to respond to the Pakistan Cricket Board’s (PCB) inquiry regarding the absence of a Pakistani official at the Champions Trophy final trophy presentation ceremony.

The PCB had raised a question with the ICC about why Pakistan was not represented at the event, especially considering that PCB CEO and tournament director Sameer Ahmed were both present in Dubai.

Sources suggest that despite reminders from the PCB, the ICC has not provided any response so far. Pakistan had previously expressed its dissatisfaction over not being given representation at the final and had also highlighted instances of mismanagement by the ICC during the event.
