Passenger Plane Crashes into Potomac River After Colliding with Military Helicopter in the U.S

A passenger plane in the United States crashed into the Potomac River after a collision with a military helicopter, with fears of fatalities following the accident.

According to reports from international news agencies, the incident occurred near Reagan National Airport, where an American Airlines jet collided with an Army Black Hawk helicopter before crashing into the river. The jet, which had 64 people on board, was involved in the crash, and authorities confirmed the plane collided with the Black Hawk helicopter Wednesday evening.

In the aftermath of the crash, flights were suspended both inside and outside the Ronald Reagan National Airport in Washington, D.C. Federal officials confirmed that the helicopter had three people aboard, including crew members, and no senior military officials were on board. However, the condition of the crew members has not been confirmed yet.

Senator Jerry Moran of Kansas, in a statement on social media platform X, mentioned that a plane from Kansas was involved in the accident, and he was in contact with the authorities, urging everyone to pray for the well-being of those on board.

The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) and the National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) will investigate the incident.
