Parliamentary Secretary for Transport Vows to Modernize Transport Department and Enhance Travel Facilities in Balochistan

Quetta:Parliamentary Secretary for Transport, Mir Liaquat Ali Lehri, has announced plans to modernize the Transport Department and provide the public with better travel facilities. He urged officials to take steps that would restore the trust of both the public and transporters.

During his visit to the Transport Authority Balochistan on Wednesday, he was welcomed by Secretary PTA, Abdul Majid Junajo, and the PTA team. Secretary Junajo briefed him on the department’s performance, reforms in the transport sector, and ongoing projects.

Abdul Majid Junajo shared that the Transport Department, under the leadership of Chief Minister Balochistan Mir Sarfraz Bugti and Secretary Transport Hayat Kakr, is working diligently to provide safe and dignified travel facilities for the people of Balochistan. He further mentioned that the department would become even more robust with the arrival of Mir Liaquat Ali Lehri.

Parliamentary Secretary Mir Liaquat Ali Lehri praised PTA’s efforts and assured full cooperation for improving travel facilities in Balochistan. He emphasized that the department would be developed along modern lines, ensuring the best travel services for the public. Mir Liaquat Ali Lehri also stated that all necessary measures would be implemented to restore the confidence of both the public and transporters.

At the conclusion of the visit, Secretary PTA thanked the Parliamentary Secretary and assured him that PTA would continue to perform with excellence.
