Pakistan’s UN Envoy Warns of the Threat Posed by Kharijite Extremists
Islamabad:In a recent interview, Pakistan’s Permanent Representative to the United Nations, Munir Akram, highlighted the threat posed by Kharijite extremism to both Pakistan and the global community. He emphasized the connection between Kharijite extremists and Al-Qaeda, urging the international community to take robust action against Kharijite and ISIS-related threats. Akram stressed that the Afghan government must address terrorism to achieve lasting peace, warning that terrorists could potentially seize control of Afghanistan. He called for a collective political response against these terrorist organizations and stated that Afghanistan’s international relations would remain strained until the issue of terrorism is resolved.
