Pakistan’s Foreign Exchange Reserves Decline

Pakistan’s foreign exchange reserves have experienced a decline. As of March 7, 2025, the country’s total liquid foreign exchange reserves stood at $15,928.9 million. The details of the reserves are as follows:

1. **State Bank of Pakistan’s Foreign Exchange Reserves**: $11,097.9 million.
2. **Net Foreign Exchange Reserves of Commercial Banks**: $4,831.0 million.
3. **Total Liquid Foreign Exchange Reserves**: $15,928.9 million.

During the week ending on March 7, 2025, the reserves held by the State Bank of Pakistan dropped by $152 million due to external debt payments, bringing them down to $11,097.9 million.
