Dubai:Pakistan’s exports to the United Arab Emirates (UAE) have seen a significant rise of 28% during the current fiscal year, reaching $1.2 billion between July 2024 and February 2025, compared to the previous year. This was announced by Ali Zaib, the Pakistani Commercial and Trade Consul in Dubai, during his address at a *Suhur* gathering organized by the Pakistan Consulate and Pakistan Business Council in Dubai.

Ali Zaib highlighted that this increase in exports is a result of strengthened trade relations between Pakistan and the UAE. The event aimed to invite other business councils and foreign diplomatic missions, registered with the Dubai Chamber of Commerce, to participate in the upcoming Pakistan Trade Show.

The Consul General of Pakistan in Dubai, Hussain Mohammad, and Chairman of Pakistan Business Council Dubai, Shabbir Merchant, also extended an invitation to foreign delegations, encouraging them to invest in Pakistan. Hussain Mohammad assured foreign delegates that investors wishing to attend the Trade Show in Pakistan would receive full cooperation and support from the Pakistani consulate.

Additionally, Shabbir Merchant shared that a delegation of foreign investors from Dubai would be participating in the Mega Trade Show to be held in Lahore. The fourth edition of the Health, Engineering, and Minerals Show (HEM 2025) is scheduled to take place from April 17 to 19, 2025, in Lahore.

This significant growth in exports reflects the strengthening economic ties between Pakistan and the UAE and highlights opportunities for further investment and collaboration in various sectors.
