Karachi:Pakistani TikTok star Amsha Rahman recently responded to the controversy surrounding her private videos that went viral on social media. The videos, which were deemed inappropriate, had caused an uproar on various platforms, with Amsha being one of several Pakistani social media influencers targeted.
In her statement, Amsha revealed how she felt devastated after her personal videos were leaked online. She shared that it felt as if her life had come to a halt, as she struggled with the thought of facing the public and attending university. The incident also brought severe threats to her life, with some even telling her they would kill her. Amsha expressed that those sharing such intimate videos often fail to understand the deep impact it has on the victim’s life.
Instead of reacting impulsively or retaliating with another video, Amsha chose to approach the authorities for justice. She reached out to the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA), who took swift action, resulting in the arrest of the culprit behind the leak. The suspect, identified as Abdul Aziz from Gujranwala, initially claimed he had only shared memes of Amsha and had not leaked any videos, though investigations are ongoing.
Amsha emphasized the importance of privacy and the dire consequences such actions can have on a person’s life. Through her ordeal, she urged her followers and the public to respect boundaries and understand the emotional turmoil that can result from the violation of privacy.
