London:Pakistani actress Hiba Bukhari is currently in London for the ‘Hum Style Awards,’ where a video of her has gone viral, prompting a variety of comments from fans.
In the brief clip, Hiba appears to show signs of pregnancy, leading to a flurry of reactions online. One user criticized her by asking, “What compulsion was there to do this? Have you forgotten your traditions while copying Bollywood?” Another user, Asmat Hameed, sarcastically remarked, “A crow tries to imitate a swan but forgets its own style,” suggesting that mimicking Bollywood may not benefit Pakistani actresses.
While many users expressed criticism, some defended Hiba, asserting that she has the freedom to make choices aligned with her values and desires.
Recently, Hiba and her husband, Areez Ahmed, held a live session on their YouTube channel, where they shared the news of expecting a baby with their fans. Hiba expressed her appreciation for her fans, saying, “Yes, I am pregnant, and Areez and I will soon be parents.”
Explaining why she initially kept the news private, Hiba mentioned her busy shooting schedule and the need to fulfill commitments. She noted, “Gone are the days when people stayed home during pregnancy. You should continue working if you can manage it comfortably.”
Hiba also indicated that she intended to announce her pregnancy via video but felt it was already public knowledge. She expressed happiness over the support they received after the news broke.
It’s noteworthy that actress and host Nadia Khan revealed earlier this month that Hiba was pregnant, sharing that she learned this from Hiba’s husband. The viral videos from London showcase Hiba with a visible baby bump, but she has not commented further on the expected birth.
Hiba Bukhari married Areez Ahmed in January 2022.
