In a recent podcast, renowned Pakistani actress Fatima Effendi shared her observations about the changing dynamics of romantic relationships among young women. Effendi suggested that there is a growing trend where young women are increasingly attracted to married men rather than single men.
During the podcast, Effendi discussed various aspects of her career, children, and personal life. In response to a question about marital infidelity, she noted that many women who find out about their husbands’ affairs often direct their anger towards the other woman, instead of confronting their husbands. Effendi criticized this approach, stating, “If you need to confront someone, it should be your husband, as he is not a naive child.”
Effendi further explained that the allure of married men might be driven by their financial stability. “I see that nowadays women are inclined towards married men because they are financially secure,” she remarked. She attributed this shift to the influence of social media, where people often compare their lives with the luxurious lifestyles displayed online. This comparison, according to Offendi, leads women to prefer married men who can offer a more affluent lifestyle.
She expressed concern about the impact of these trends on her own children, fearing the societal shift towards valuing material wealth over personal integrity.
