Pakistani Actress Bushra Ansari Criticizes the Negative Impact of Ramadan Transmissions on Spiritual Practices

Pakistani veteran actress Bushra Ansari recently shared her thoughts on the negative aspects of Ramadan transmissions during her latest vlog on her official YouTube channel. Speaking candidly about the issue, she expressed that nowadays, Ramadan seems more focused on entertainment rather than spiritual reflection. “These days, Ramadan has turned into a ‘festive Ramadan,’ with cooking shows and iftar preparations taking center stage on every channel,” she said.

While acknowledging her participation in many Ramadan transmissions, Ansari emphasized that in the past, when there were no such shows, people spent more time in worship, reciting the Quran, and performing other religious duties. “Back then, we used to focus more on prayer and devotion. Now, due to these transmissions, people spend less time on religious activities,” she added.

Ansari further quoted her mother, saying, “She used to say that fasting is not just about hunger, but about devotion. If people fast and don’t pray, read the Quran, or perform any religious acts, it is as if they are just enduring hunger.”

Bushra Ansari is widely recognized as a legendary figure in Pakistan’s entertainment industry. With a career spanning decades, she is admired for her versatile talents in acting, singing, writing, and hosting. Recently, her natural performance in the hit drama serial *Kabhi Mein Kabhi Tum* received immense appreciation.

Known for her timeless talent, Ansari has captivated audiences of all ages, consistently delivering remarkable performances across various platforms. Fans eagerly await her next project and the new roles she will undertake.
