Pakistan Launches Crypto Council, Marking a New Digital Era for the Economy

Islamabad: Finance Minister Mohammad Aurangzeb has announced that the establishment of the Pakistan Crypto Council represents the beginning of a new digital chapter for the country’s economy.

According to a statement released by the Ministry of Finance, Minister Aurangzeb presided over the first meeting of the Pakistan Crypto Council. The meeting was attended by Crypto Council CEO Bilal Bin Saqib, the Governor of the State Bank of Pakistan, and the Chairman of the Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP). During the meeting, Bilal Bin Saqib presented a comprehensive vision and mission for the Crypto Council.

Minister Aurangzeb stated that the Pakistan Crypto Council would bring together relevant stakeholders and regulatory bodies, adding that it would mark the beginning of a new digital era for the country’s economy.
